History Of A Witch

My Experience

People often ask me how long I've been practicing witchcraft, and the honest answer is that it has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My fascination with the occult began when I was a teenager. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion for studying witchcraft, folklore, divination, mythology, religion, and the countless ways people throughout history have sought to understand the unseen world. More than twenty years later, that curiosity hasn't faded—if anything, it's only grown stronger.
I officially began practicing witchcraft at the age of fourteen when I cast my first spell. Like many practitioners, my earliest workings were simple, but they sparked a lifelong dedication to learning, practicing, and refining my craft. Every book, every ritual, every success, and every mistake became another lesson that shaped the practitioner I am today.
At nineteen, I purchased my first tarot deck and began the journey of learning the language of the cards. What began as a personal spiritual practice eventually became one of my greatest passions. By the age of twenty-four, I was reading tarot professionally, helping clients navigate life's questions with insight, honesty, and practical guidance.
My love of learning naturally extended into higher education. I studied History while also completing double minors in Philosophy and Religious Studies. These disciplines gave me a broader understanding of how magical traditions, religious beliefs, folklore, and alternative spiritual practices have developed across different cultures and throughout history. Rather than simply learning how people practiced, I became equally fascinated with why they practiced the way they did.
In 2021, I had the privilege of working at my local metaphysical shop for 5 years, where I served as both the resident tarot reader and herbologist. One of the most rewarding parts of that experience was teaching. I worked with everyone from complete beginners taking their first steps into witchcraft to experienced practitioners looking to deepen their knowledge. Whether discussing tarot, magical herbs, folk magic, spellcraft, protection, or spiritual practice, I discovered that I genuinely love helping others build confidence in their own path.
Today, although I've returned to the "muggle sector" for my day job, my work as a practitioner continues through my freelance practice. I offer professional tarot readings, personalized spellcasting, spiritual consultations, house cleansings, and private mentorship for those seeking guidance or wishing to deepen their understanding of the craft.
If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that no one ever truly finishes learning.
Despite more than two decades of study and practice, I don't call myself an expert. The occult is far too vast, too rich, and too layered for anyone to know everything. Instead, I consider myself what I've always been—a dedicated student of the Craft. I am constantly reading, researching, experimenting, and expanding my understanding because I believe the best teachers never stop learning themselves.
That philosophy shapes every service I offer. When you work with me, you're not simply receiving memorized information or prewritten rituals. You're working with someone who has spent decades immersed in the study of witchcraft and folk magic, who values both tradition and critical thinking, and who approaches every reading, spell, and lesson with genuine curiosity, care, and respect for the path we walk.
For me, witchcraft isn't a hobby or a passing interest. It's a lifelong calling—one that has challenged me, inspired me, and continues to teach me something new every single day.
