Greetings, Magickal Soul

For over 20 years now, I have walked the path of magick-- not as a passing interest, but as a lifelong devotion and special interest to the unseen currents that shape our spiritual reality.
My practice is both studied and inherited. As a dual citizen of the US south and UK north, I carry a deep connection to the Cunning Folk traditions rooted in both places. Magick that is shaped by land, lineage, and the quiet wisdom of the old ways. These roots are not just cultural for me. They are personal. Lived. And continually studied through personal practice and formal education.
The desire for deepening my knowledge in the mystical arts eventually led me to attend North Carolina State University's History Bachelor's program where I majored in History and double-minored in Philosophy and Religious Studies. It was the closest I could get to a formal Occult Sciences degree since that's not offered in universities, but I wanted one regardless so I kind of made up my own degree as I progressed through school. The classes I chose always pertained to spirituality, religious practices, or the history of an occult art or science in some shape or form. As such, I believe myself to be well-read and well-versed in a number of magickal practices. However, I still refer to myself as a student of magick because I will always be learning something new.
Magick is also in my bloodline. My great-great-grandmother was a spiritualist and the village tea leaf reader in Thornaby-on-Tees, England, and was known for her intuitive sight and ability to read the insides of the teacup with great accuracy and wisdom. Her role in the community was not entertainment; It was guidance, comfort, and counsel. In many ways, I see my work as an echo of hers as I have now been working and freelancing in Raleigh's premiere witch shop, The Holy Rose, for the past 5 years performing the same type of guidance and counsel that she used to offer her community.
Over the decades, I have developed my craft through tarot, spellwork, energy work, ancestral connection, and deep symbolic study.  My approach blends structured practice with intuitive gnosis, balancing tradition with personal experience. I believe the most effective magick is made under a careful combination of intention, focus, and historically and culturally accurate tools and supplies. 
As a professional witch and magick mentor, I now devote my work to helping others reconnect with their own power, navigate transformation, and build meaningful relationships with the unseen. Whether through tarot guidance readings, spellcasting and spellcraft services, or foundational teachings in magick, my focus is always clarity, empowerment, and grounded spiritual practice. 
This is not simply what I do. It is where I come from and what I continue to walk in every day.
