My Ways Of Cunning

My
Philosophy

Magic has never been, in my eyes, about shortcuts.

It is not a way to force the universe to bend to our every desire, nor is it a replacement for personal responsibility. Instead, I see magic as a conversation—a relationship between ourselves, the spirits we work with, the natural world, and the countless unseen currents that shape our lives.

My practice is rooted in the traditions of the cunning folk: ordinary people who used practical magic, prayer, herbs, divination, charms, and spiritual wisdom to help their communities navigate life's joys and hardships. They were healers, advisors, and problem solvers. That spirit of service continues to inspire my work today.

Every person who comes to me carries a unique story. No two situations are identical, and because of that, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all spellwork or generic spiritual advice. Every tarot reading, ritual, and magical working is thoughtfully crafted around the individual—their circumstances, goals, obstacles, and the spiritual influences surrounding them.

I also believe in honesty.

Magic can create opportunities, shift circumstances, remove obstacles, and strengthen the paths available to us, but it cannot erase free will or guarantee that life will unfold exactly as we imagine. Anyone who promises instant miracles or absolute certainty is offering false hope rather than genuine spiritual guidance.

For me, ethical practice means speaking truthfully, even when that truth isn't always the easiest thing to hear. Sometimes the cards affirm the path you're on. Sometimes they encourage patience. Sometimes they reveal that a different direction may ultimately bring greater fulfillment than the one you first envisioned. My responsibility is to share what I genuinely perceive—not simply what someone hopes to hear.

Teaching holds an equally important place in my practice.

I don't believe knowledge should be hidden behind mystery or gatekeeping. While the occult deserves respect and careful study, I also believe it should be approachable. Whether I'm mentoring an aspiring practitioner, teaching tarot, or explaining magical theory, my goal is to help students develop confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong foundation for their own spiritual practice.

Above all, I believe magic works best as a partnership.

The most meaningful transformations happen when spiritual work is paired with real-world action, personal growth, and a willingness to participate in the change you're seeking. Magic opens doors—but we still have to walk through them.

My promise to every client and student is simple: you'll receive my honesty, my full attention, and the benefit of years of dedicated study and practice. Whether you're seeking guidance through tarot, a carefully crafted magical working, or the knowledge to begin your own path, my aim is always the same—to provide thoughtful, respectful, and authentic spiritual support that honors both the traditions I practice and the individual standing before me.
